A Boy at the Door

Wed Apr 8, 2009, 9:24 AM
I honestly don't think I've ever been so scared in my life. I woke up to the sound of the doorbell ringing, this morning. I found out I was home alone. I couldn't see a car outside my bedroom window, or anything, so I decided to ignore the doorbell, 'cause I didn't know who was at the door (or so I thought.). Anyway, a few minutes later, the doorbell went again, I was thinking: "No one's going to come to the door, why won't you just go away?" Eventually, I got up. I didn't go down to the door, though. I got a little freaked out after the doorbell went again. And then they started knocking with the.. knocker, or whatever. I think I heard the doorknob twisting, too. I can't count how many times they had rung the doorbell, or tried to get in. I ran to the phone, and phoned up my mum. She was out with the dogs, I think. I told her the situation, but because she was out with the dogs, she told me that my dad would come home instead. By this time, my heart was pounding. The reason I was so scared is because I thought it was my aunt (We're not talking to her. Don't ask why.). I kept looking out the window, trying to see who it was. My dad tried to convince me it was nothing on the phone. I wouldn't have any of it, 'cause I'm such a worrier. Anyway, my dad got home. I couldn't believe who it was. It was a boy at the door. My brother, to be more precise. He said he had left his DS in my mum's car. He had got the keys to unlock it, but he had locked himself out of the house. I felt so guilty. xD

And, the Easter holidays started this week. The only bad thing about them is that they go so fast. I've got two weeks off. I couldn't believe it was Wednesday already, today. We're going to London, again, next week, to see the musical Wicked. I wasn't too keen on it, because there were other musicals I wanted to see (Oliver was the main one. I loved the movie, and I really want to read the book.). And also my friend is pressurising me for a sleepover. I hate it when she does that. D:
